Hello!
I am a total baby gear geek. The obsession began when I was a nanny for my newborn nephew about 8 years ago. After that I managed two amazing baby stores, that shall not be named, that furthered my obsession with baby gear. I have worked with everything for baby including, but not limited to, strollers, car seats, highchairs, bottles, breast pumps, furniture, clothing, toys, monitors, bedding and all decorative accessories.
What I saw was nothing short of an epidemic. Wide-eyed new parents would walk in my door scared out of their minds. I heard horror stories of expectant parents walking out of stores frustrated, confused and overwhelmed with the vast selection of baby gear to choose from and I can see why. There is too much assortment on the market and what is very much needed in most cases is a personal shopper who is familiar with the selection and can narrow it down to what you need for your lifestyle. Not your friend’s lifestyle or Kourtney Kardashian’s lifestyle but your lifestyle!
So that’s what I am here to do! I will be going over my baby gear obsessions by category and by lifestyle. I will go over all of the hits and misses I have seen throughout my career in baby gear and keep you up to date about new products Most importantly, I am here to tell you what you do not need, because trust me, there is a lot of money to be saved by avoiding unnecessary luxuries that are temping in the baby gear world.
